Joint Effort Seizes Drugs And Guns, Jasper Man Arrested

On Friday, members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), Troop”E” Uniform Force, NYSP Special Operations Response Team (SORT) and the Elmira Police Department conducted a narcotic investigation at State Route 417 in the Town of Jasper, NY.
Investigators seized approximately 16 grams of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and US currency.

Police arrested 36 year old  Andrew Diffenbacher, of Jasper and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree (class B Felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree (class D Felony).

Diffenbacher was remanded to the Steuben County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The arrests stemmed from an investigation conducted by the New York State Police and the Elmira Police Department.
