Elmira Man Charged With Attempted Robbery

 On Saturday at around 12:53 pm, Elmira Police Department patrol officers responded to the area of 808 Johnson St. in the City of Elmira for the report of a menacing.

Upon arrival, officers met with the complainant who advised that a man identified as Rashad Graham had pointed what appeared to be handgun at the complainant. The complainant advised officers that Graham demanded money from him during the incident. 

The Elmira Police Department and New York state Police executed a search warrant at Rashad Graham’s residence, 805 Davis St. in the City of Elmira.  As a result of the investigation Graham was charged with Attempted Robbery 2nd Degree, which is a Class D Felony.
