Spencer Man Charged with Grand Larceny

An area businessman has been arrested on charged of grand larceny.

On November 19, 2018, New York State Police at Ithaca arrested 47 year old David C. Hall, of Spencer, NY for the class C felony of Grand Larceny in the second degree

Investigators determined that Hall, who is the proprietor of Worth Auctions failed to pay the owner of an estate for property valued over $200,000.  The case was originally brought to Investigators in December 2017.

Hall surrendered himself to State Police on November 19.  He was arrested and arraigned in the town of Dryden Court where he was remanded to the Tompkins County Jail on $100,000 cash bail or $200,000 property bond.  He is scheduled to reappear in the town of Dryden Court November 21, 2018.

  1. This man has done this to more people than the one mentioned. Check the Yelp and Better Business Bureau reviews. The Tompkins County District Attorney’s office should be prosecuting him on all the people he has robbed. Ask the DA’S office for a comment, good luck having them call you back.
